The Eyes Have It: Short Story

This is a very short story, very quick and fast read - under 10 minutes I would say. The story is interesting to say the least, maybe a paranoid or drug induced fantasy.

In it Dick is writing as if he is reading a story, the story he is reading is something of a romance or maybe just talking about a date night. But to Dick, either in a paranoid fantasy or a drug induced one, see's aliens ever where. 'The lady asks for his arm. ' and 'He give's it too her' - causing Dick to go to the literal of removal of an arm - how many body parts can the aliens remove? Eyes? Arms? Heart? Head? all of the above. Later in the story, 'The lady gives him her heart. ' then takes his hand. All of which too Dick is in the literal.

This actually was a really good story, a bit out there, but typical Philip K. Dick stuff. I'm kind of surprised that I haven't seen an adaptation of this before. So if there is an adaptation of this story, please let me know.

I'm giving it 4 stars, because it was out there, very interesting, and in a few short paragraphs, really had me thinking.
